Cork Open 2007 News

The Friday night party is on in the Thirsty Scholar pub(see the map). Visiting teams will meet their hosts or find their hostels and get drunk. As far as I know last calls are at 12:30 so the place will close around 1 or 1:30. Saturday night’s party is at Cypress Avenue (Party), a late bar in the centre of town (see the map). The theme for this year’s party is “The 7 Deadly Sins”. Be as creative as you like but the pub has asked for no white runners and that everybody have a valid ID. That’s a passport, driver’s license or Garda Age card. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, partying and sharking. We have a private section booked for the night with music, a dance floor and a private bar. The venue closes at 2am (but Sunday games start early!).
